About this app
This app uses Google Earth Engine to display the Cropland Data Layer for either a chosen crop or all crops. The 'Split Panel' tab displays two layers side by side. The 'Animation' tab displays animation over time. To create your own animations in Google Earth Engine, click the 'Read Me' tab and follow the link. You will need a Google account.
These are the raw data; they show an estimate of which crop was grown on each 30mx30m pixel in the United States. For details on the data and accuracy estimates, see the metadata. Visit the cropscape site or Google Earth Engine to download the data.
